WESTLAKE CHILDCARE
WESTLAKE CHILDCARE, located in the prestigious area of Westlake Hills, provides a nurturing environment that gives each child the love and encouragement he/she needs to reach developmental milestones . Our staff is composed of an energetic, educated and loving group of woman that make a daily effort to show each child how special they truly are. WCC opened in 1996 as a group-home daycare. In 2000 we changed to a fully licensed daycare provider. We established higher standards for our facility,  while keeping the home-like environment. We are operating on the third monitoring plan (highest rating) with the state of Texas, due to our continued compliance with state standards for care. We are also a FOUR STAR ACCREDITED CENTER with Texas Rising Star and the Texas Workforce Commission, demonstrating the highest standards of care and educational development. We have installed VIDEO AND AUDIO MONITORING IN ALL CLASSROOMS to ensure the safety of our staff and children, as well as to provide quick access for classroom evaluations and parental monitoring. Throughout 2007 and 2008, we completely renovated our playground and classrooms. We continue to make improvements, so know that you will be heard when you make suggestions. At WESTLAKE CHILDCARE we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for each child! Come see why we are the BEST!

Why Choose an ACCREDITED Program?
Accredited programs meet a higher standard:
  • Promote positive relationships for all children and adults to encourage each child's sense of individual worth.
  • Implement a curriculum that fosters all areas of child development: cognitive, emotional, language, physical, and social.
  • Use developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate effective teaching approaches.
  • Provide ongoing assessments of a child's learning and development and communicate the child's progress to the family.
  • Promote the nutrition and health of children and protect children and staff from injury and illness.
  • Employ a teaching staff that has the educational qualifications, knowledge, and professional commitment necessary to promote children's learning and development, and to support families' diverse needs and interests.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with each child's family.
  • Establish relationships with and use the resources of the community to support the achievement of program goals.
  • Provide a safe and healthy physical environment.
  • Implement strong personnel, fiscal, and program management policies so that all children, families, and staff have high-quality experiences.
